New construction moves through phases tied to the broader build schedule:
Scope with the Builder
We review plans, walk the framed structure, and provide a free written estimate scoped to the whole project.
Hang Drywall Throughout
Drywall is hung room by room, including vaulted ceilings, stairwells, and any complex geometry in the plan.
Tape, Mud & Texture
Every joint is taped and finished to a consistent texture across the entire home before paint begins.
Prime & Paint Interior
Interior walls, ceilings, and trim are primed and painted once drywall finish work is complete and inspected.
Paint the Exterior
Exterior siding and trim are painted once the structure is ready, prepped for Charlotte's climate.
Final Punch List
We walk the finished home with the builder or homeowner and handle any remaining touch-ups before closeout.
Our Approach on New Builds
Consistency across an entire house is the standard we hold ourselves to on new construction — the same texture, the same paint sheen logic, and the same finish quality from the first room hung to the last one painted.
Custom homes often include vaulted ceilings, dormers, and coffered details that take more time to finish correctly — we build that into the schedule rather than treating those rooms the same as a standard flat ceiling.
We use premium professional-grade paint throughout and apply the same multi-coat approach on new construction that we use on any other painting project, since a new house shows every shortcut just as clearly as an older one.

Every project is different, so we quote after a walkthrough rather than guessing over the phone. Here's what generally moves the price and schedule:
