What's Included
A typical cabinet refinishing project includes:
Kitchen cabinet box and door refinishing
Bathroom vanity painting to match a remodel or color update
Door and drawer front removal, labeling, and reinstallation
Degreasing and sanding to prep for adhesion
Hardware removal and reinstallation (or upgrade, if supplied)
Two-tone cabinet color schemes (uppers vs. lowers, island accents)
Interior shelving touch-up on request

How Cabinet Painting Works
Here's how a cabinet project typically runs:
Estimate & Color Selection
We assess the cabinets, discuss finish and color, and provide a free written estimate.
Remove Doors & Hardware
Doors, drawer fronts, and hardware are removed and labeled so everything goes back exactly where it started.
Degrease & Sand
Years of kitchen grease and grime are cleaned off, and surfaces are sanded to give the new finish something to grip.
Prime
A bonding primer is applied to prevent chipping and peeling down the road, especially on high-touch areas like door edges.
Paint in Coats
Multiple thin coats are applied to boxes, doors, and drawers for a smooth, factory-style finish.
Reinstall & Adjust
Doors and hardware go back on, and we adjust hinges so everything closes cleanly.
Finishes & Prep Approach
Cabinets get touched constantly, so we lean on a durable, low-sheen finish (satin or semi-gloss) designed to resist fingerprints, grease, and everyday wear better than a standard wall paint.
Degreasing before sanding is a step that's easy to skip but shouldn't be — kitchen cabinets in particular build up an invisible grease film that keeps paint from bonding if it isn't removed first.
We remove doors and drawer fronts to paint them flat rather than in place, which gives a smoother, more even coat than painting cabinets while they're still hanging.
